HELLFIRE CROSSROADS IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO SUBMISSIONS FOR VOLUME 6.
The tag line for HELLFIRE CROSSROADS is 'horror with a heart', and that's what I'm looking for. What do I mean by that? Horror that is well written and has depth. Not jerk-off slasher crap (unless It's well written and has that extra something; I know it when I see it).
GUIDELINES
The magazine will have a wide brief. As long as the work you submit is well written, with depth of character enhanced by the horror (and/or supernatural) elements and has an aspect of originality, even though the theme may be well-worn, I will consider it. Please only use strong language if it is essential to the plot or the portrayal of the character.
There is no maximum or minimum word length at the moment. Submissions should only be sent to the e-mail address above, incorporated into the text of the message, or attached as an rtf or Word document.
I reserve the right to make minor changes in punctuation and grammar. Any other changes will only be made after consultation with the author.
Payment will be by means of advertising yourself and any current project you wish to promote.
